Alternative Medicine
Alternative Medicine is a conception that extents a wide variety treatment methods, with the common that they are all outside of the allopathic medicine.
Instead of just moderating the symptoms, alternative medicine tries to find why the symptoms occurred and cure from the bottom. It is usually a matter of strengthening the body and mind with different methods to help the body’s own healing power.
Herbs have many constituents that work together and make every herb unique. The healing process happens slowly by strengthening the organs and the body and there are not many side effects.
Many medications have actually been produced from herbs, or from their synthetic versions. These more powerful medications work faster and sometimes that might be what we need to heal, but in the long run they usually give side-effects and more harm than profit. Neither do they not correct the primary cause of the symptoms. It is good they exist, but should only be used in case of necessity.
In the allopathic medicine the mind and soul is not taken into consideration, but the body is seen as a machine that needs to be greased. The food is not believed to matter very much.
Chiropractic, naprapathy, and acupuncture have already become accepted as treatment methods also within the allopathic medicine and I’m hoping for more.
What is accepted or not depends on the location. You can try different methods and see what is good for you, we are all individuals and need different treatments.
